When McGuire Music first opened in the spring of 1971, there

was a big wooden sign hanging above the entrance that read:

McGuire Music 

"Where Teaching Is Our First Concern!"

The wooden sign is long gone, but our philosophy remains the same!

Music education is still a very important part of what we are doing as a

local independent music merchant.  Since 1971, thousands of people

have come to McGuire Music to learn to play and enjoy their musical

instrument.  If your are thinking about private lessons for yourself or

someone in your family, please think of McGuire Music!

Our teaching schedule runs from mid-afternoon until 8PM Monday thru Friday

and from 10AM - 5PM on Saturday.  Our current studio rate is $20 per half-hour
